Ingredients
  1. 1 c salted water
  2. 1 c diced potatoes
  3. 1.2 c carrots
  4. 3 TB onion
  5. 1 small can peas
  6. 1 TB butter
  7. 1 can tuna
  8. 2 TB flour
  9. milk
  10. 1 c sifted flour
  11. 1/3 c shortening
  12. water
For White Sauce
  1. Simmer potatoes, carrots and onion in salted water for 10 minutes
  2. Drain, saving all liquids
  3. Add peas and set aside
  4. Melt butter in saucepan, add liquid from canned tuna and 2 TB flour
  5. Add reserved liquid and enough milk to make 2 cups
  6. Simmer, stirring until liquid reaches sauce consistency
  7. Add tuna and vegetables
For Pastry
  1. Mix sifted flour and shortening with enough water to roll and shape pie crust
  2. Bake at 450°
  3. Add filling to crust
