Prune Chiffon Pie 2014-01-04 17:05:20 Write a review Save Recipe Print Ingredients 1 envelope plain gelatin 1/4 c. water 3 eggs, separated 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1-1/2 tsp lemon rind 5 TB lemon juice 3/4 c cooked prune pulp Instructions Soak gelatin in 2 TB of water, set aside. Combine slightly beaten egg yolks with 1/2 c sugar, salt, lemon rind, lemon juice and 2 TB water Cook in double boiler until mixture thickens Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add prunes Cool until mixture begins to thicken. Beat egg whites until stiff Add 1/4 c. sugar Fold in gelatin mixture Turn into baked pie shell and chill until firm Garnish with whipped cream

Lemon Crumb Pie 2013-12-21 18:51:03 Write a review Save Recipe Print Total Time 1 hr Total Time 1 hr Ingredients 3 ea Eggs, separated 1 1/2 ea Lemon, Zest and Juice 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk 1/8 t Salt 1 ea Crumb Pie Shell Instructions Beat Egg Yolks until thick. Stir in Zest and Juice of Lemon, Condensed Milk and Salt. Beat Egg Whites until stiff Fold together. Pour mixture into pie shell and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
