French Apple Pie Filling

  1. 1 can apple pie filling
  2. 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  3. 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  4. 1 tsp grated lemon rind
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1/3 c sugar
  7. 1 TB lemon juice
  8. 3 oz. cream cheese
  9. 1/4 c sour cream
Instructions
  1. Combine apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon rind
  2. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate
  3. Combine remaining ingredients
  4. Beat at medium speed until smooth
  5. Pour over apple filling
  6. Cover with top crust
  7. Bake at 425° until golden
